You may come down to the studio during regular business hours with any ideas and references you may have and our well trained staff will be happy to assist your needs. This makes it easier to assess your custom tattoo needs and the amount of time it will take to complete the task. You will need to leave a non-refundable cash deposit upon setting your exact appointment. All of our staff and artists at Class Act Tattoo will take whatever time necessary to complete a high quality job to every customer, even if it means running behind in schedule. It is a good idea to call ahead just to make sure things at the studio are not too hectic.
If you do not live in the area, but want to set up an appointment. It is necessary to contact our staff and make special arrangements, or directly contact us through the web.
Preparing for your visit
Class Act Tattoo is open to most ideas including portraits, cover-ups, new school, old school, tribal, graffiti, fantasy, nature, spiritual, celtic, photo realism of any image, and oriental. There hasn’t yet been any idea presented that cannot be done.
References
There are many different things you can bring in for your custom designed tattoo including all types of books and print media, photographs, rough sketches and physical objects. It may be necessary to leave them here for drawing purposes. Rest assured all references will be returned safely if it is not possible to leave a copy. Other than that a cash deposit is required in order to start your artwork. For your convenience it is a good idea to bring money, ATM card or credit card as there are bank machines within close proximity of the studio.
Portraits
To get a portrait tattooed it is required that you bring a high quality photo along with size and location of where you would like it placed. Allow 1 month drawing time as we are a high volume shop and we like to take our time on drawing portraits.
Cover-ups
Cover-ups require a prior visit with the artist to assess what your options are pertaining to your situation. (example. Old tattoo, scars, names, bad tattoo, etc.) Keep in mind a tracing of the original tattoo might be needed to assist the drawing. Cover-ups may require multiple visits and tend to be darker and larger than the original image. All of our staff at Class Act Tattoo will make sure that the design chosen for your cover-up will have the optimum coverage possible, leaving your old tattoo a distant memory
Scheduling / Wait time
Due to high volume in our custom shop the waiting time varies due to many factors, including researching and drawing your tattoo design and how many people have booked appointments prior to you. To learn about the latest availability, please call our staff at (845) 343 – 2471 during business hours as we DO NOT send any answer concerning appointment availability through e-mail
Walk-ins
Walk-ins are offered at Class Act Tattoo during regular business hours. Due to our large customer base appointments are preferred. Depending on what your tattoo needs are, our staff at Class Act Tattoo will do the very best to fit you into the schedule that day.
Pricing
The prices are as unique as the tattoos, based on many factors: size, intricacy, research, and required drawing time, placement, and the time it takes to execute the piece. Due to the highly customized nature of the work, it is extremely difficult to quote a price over the phone. Cover-ups and portraits are slightly higher in price due to the extra work involved.
