Glenn Broker
Michele Broker
Welcome! My name is Glenn Broker. I am the owner and founder of Class Act Tattoo Studio based in Middletown N.Y.
For as long as I can remember, I’ve always had a creative artistic side to myself. My first business venture was in the 80’s while I was still in high school. I started airbrushing in flea markets, fairs, boardwalks, and doing custom work for clients. After graduation, I decided to get my first tattoo, and that tattoo artist saw my artistic ability and gave me the basics to learn how to tattoo.
Even though I loved to airbrush and tattoo, I still wanted to experience other fields of business. So I started college in 1990 earning two separate degrees in architecture and criminal justice while continuing to run a busy and fast growing airbrushing and tattoo studio. In 1997 I decided that tattooing was what I really wanted to do. So I purchased an old laundry mat on East Main St. in Middletown, and converted it over to my new shop location. My main focus in business is to provide an enjoyable quality experience or all my customers by having a knowledgeable staff, a friendly professional atmosphere, and guaranteeing a sterile environment, with sterile procedures, ensuring the safety and health of our clients along with ourselves.
I’ve put my life into tattooing and I wouldn’t want to do anything else. I still do custom airbrushing for clients on shirts, choppers, helmets, cars, almost anything you can think of. During my off hours I enjoy spending time with my family, riding motocross, blowing things up on the 4th of July, and believe it or not golfing.
Id like to thank all of my loyal customers that supported me since I started my business. Without your trust in me, I couldn’t have become so successful. Thank you.

I was born early in the morning on January 15th, 1971 in Mill Basin, Brooklyn, New York. Since I was a boy I was always interested in art. My father is an artist, like his mother before him. Dad was a huge influence on me becoming an artist. When I was young, he would sit me on his lap put the pencil in my hand and start drawing!
In elementary school I always excelled in art classes. I would also get involved in extra curricular art activities at the school.
At around age 10 my parents sought out Robert Barrel’s art studio in Queens, New York. I studied under Mr. Barrel for about a year.
At age 13 I started painting & sculpting. My parents took the advice of one of my Jr. high school art teachers. They enrolled me in figure drawing & sculpting courses, at Pratt Institute, in Brooklyn, New York. The knowledge I have obtained in these fields has proven to be rewarding. Also, l was taking every art class my high school had to offer. In my Junior & Senior year I enrolled in commercial & graphic art vocational courses at The Orange-Ulster BOCES Career & Technical Education Center, in Goshen N.Y.
By 16 I started playing the electric guitar. I formed the first line up for my metal band Project Insanity by age 18.
Around age 19 I went to college at SUNY-Sullivan County Community College. I enrolled in the commercial art program. I was accepted into the Joe Kubert School of Cartoon and Graphic Art in 1995. That’s right about the time I meet my good friend Glenn Broker. I was very impressed with his talents. He saw potential in me and since then, on his free time, he has been working with me to sharpen and fine tune my drawing skills, especially in the form of line drawings for tattooing! Glenn took me in as his apprentice, I spent several years studying under his watchful eye, learning a great deal about the art of tattoo.
I have always been very enthusiastic about my career with Master tattooist Glenn Broker at Class Act Tattoo Studio. Now that I have completed my extensive apprenticeship with Mr. Broker , I am looking forward to see how far I can push the envelope to becoming the best tattoo artist I can possibly be!
Hope to meet you all very soon! Sincerely
